Rental Conditions
*STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TEMPORARY HOLIDAY RENTAL *
Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
DEPOSIT of 50% non refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
BALANCE of the rental amount must be received in full 14 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it.
BOND is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared etc.
CANCELLATION if caused by the client. A refund of any money beyond the non refundable 50% deposit will be paid if the house is re-let for the entire period.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our Beach House but the occasional abuse requires we state the following conditions.
*STRICTLY PROHIBITED*
In accordance with Local Government regulations it is a condition of use that *PARTIES, FUNCTIONS, BUCKS NIGHTS, ETC or additional visitors to the property are strictly prohibited.* Number of people at the property are limited to those noted on your booking sheet. Use contrary to these conditions may result in termination of your booking and total loss of your bond*.
DEPARTURE - the property should be left in a similar condition to how you found it. Check out is by 10am
DAMAGES, BREAKAGES, THEFT AND LOSS are the tenant’s responsibility during their stay.
LINEN - bed linen is supplied. Please bring your own bath and beach towels.
FURNITURE & AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT - must not to be moved from one room to another. A charge will be incurred if we have to restore furniture to its original position or set up AV equipment again.
NOISE – Please be considerate to our neighbours particularly at night. Unfortunately due to previous abuse it is a bond requirement.
THEFT - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
PETS are not allowed.
NO SMOKING - No smoking inside the house. Please consider other guests.
GAS BBQ is provided for your enjoyment; however we do ask you to clean it after use leaving it in reasonable condition for the next person. Whilst we make every endeavor to ensure it is good condition and with gas in it for each new tenant, unfortunately this is not something we can guarantee.
VEHICLES must be no more than 4 in number on the property. Vehicles are not to be parked on the lawns. Fees will apply for excess guests / vehicles not agreed with the owners in advance.
Property Specific
Calypso & Seychelles – bath towels provided.
Emerald Cove – on-site parking for 6 cars. No parking on private road. Please keep speed to 10km hour and noise to a minimum when arriving and leaving.
