Ocean Beach

The beach offers excellent swimming and surfing conditions, and has been noted as one of the best surf beaches on the east coast over 2 km's of golden sand to enjoy. The beach is patrolled during the warmer weather .Wander along the beach. During the week or early in the morning you may be lucky enough to be the only person on the beach. Emerald cove is located at the protected end of the beach but for those wanting to surf there are excellent conditions about 100 metres along the beach. 
                                              
At the rear of the property is a private little wharf for non powered craft or fishing. The children can bring their canoes and inflatable boats to enjoy in this area. At the end of the day sit with a cold drink and your feet dangling in the water.

Pearl Beach.
Pearl Beach is a tiny seaside village where life full of charm. Surrounded by Brisbane Water National Park this is of one of New South Wales' prettiest beaches.
Café’s with tempting selection of snacks and meals overlook the water, and a general store stocks a wide variety of items including freshly baked bread and croissants. There is also a salt water pool, a bowling green and public tennis courts. The fishing is said to be good off the rocks for jewfish and tailor. A pleasant walk around the rocks takes you to Pearl Beach or about 3 minutes by car.

Umina
Umina is a holiday resort town north of Emerald Cove and is said to mean 'repose'. It has a large shopping centre with everything you might need to enjoy your holiday. A choice of café’s, restaurants, and a wide variety of stores. Don’t miss trying the famous gourmet pies from Bremen pies at 302 West St. Umina. Phone 4341 4177 .

A little further along is Ettalong well known for its  seaside markets. Ettalong Beach has the largest undercover markets on the Central Coast. Wander along cobbled walkways  of 150 permanent and casual stallholders displaying a huge variety of goods, including boutique eateries, clothes and fashion accessories, antiques and bric-a-brac, tools, pets, rugs, craft supplies and handmade items, decorator items, plants and much more. Live entertainment and a lively atmosphere make the markets a great place to relax and unwind, while you pick up some fabulous bargains and unique gifts.
