The beach
The beach offers excellent swimming and surfing conditions, and has been noted as one of the best surf beaches on the east coast. Wander along the beach. During the week or early in the morning you may be lucky enough to be the only person on the beach. 

Surf smart programs are run by the council at the local beaches, Details are usually published in the local paper . Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach during the summer months.
